Kyla MacLennan is a Vice President in Abernathy MacGregor’s New York office. She provides ongoing strategic communications, public affairs and investor relations counsel to clients across industries including technology, media and telecom, financial institutions, alternative investments and healthcare. With a specialization in M&A and transaction communications, Kyla has advised on transactions with a total value of more than $110 billion. She has experience with both friendly and hostile transactions, and has advised on complex transaction litigation, notably providing on-the-ground courtroom support after a collation of 14 state attorneys general sued to block the T-Mobile and Sprint merger.

In addition to her transaction experience, Kyla has worked with clients across a range of scenarios, including executive transitions, bankruptcies and crises spanning from product recalls to data breaches. In her engagements, she has developed and implemented comprehensive media relations, corporate communication and public affairs campaigns and strategies. In addition, she has served in an interim in-house capacity for clients, where she supports internal and external communications, executive visibility strategy and planning and corporate media relations efforts.
