Christen Bagley advises clients based on her broad communications experience, which includes high-stakes corporate crisis messaging and management, strategic and financial communications, investor and public relations, leadership transitions, government relations communications, mergers and long-term corporate positioning programs. Her areas of expertise include media relations, crisis planning and response and corporate communications—skills she honed while managing communications programs and challenges for Fortune 100 companies and other large organizations across a wide range of industries, including transportation, healthcare, non-profit, education and energy.

Prior to joining Abernathy MacGregor, Christen was the Vice President of Communications at the Texas Medical Center, the world’s largest medical center. Before that, she held senior corporate communications and spokesperson roles at United Airlines, Continental Airlines and Sunnova Energy. Christen started her career as a writer and editor in university development and subsequently managed communications for a healthcare trade association with offices in Washington, D.C. and Houston.
